Early page education
Page was born on February 21, 1987, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Martha Philpotts, a teacher, and Dennis Page, a graphic designer.She was assigned a woman at birth and she was named Ellen before the transition.
Page attended Halifax Elementary School through tenth grade and spent some time at Queen Elizabeth High School. After graduating from Shambhala School in 2005, Page spent two years in Toronto, studying in the Interact Program at Vaughan Road Academy, along with her close friend and fellow Canadian actor Mark Rendall.

In a March interview with Time
Page previously revealed the outcome of his major surgery in a poolside photo he posted in May, beaming while wearing his first men’s swimsuit. “Trans bb’s first swimsuits,” Page captioned the photo, using the hashtags “#transjoy” and “#transisbeautiful.”
In a March interview with Time, she revealed that she was on the mend after undergoing top surgery in December when she came out as a transgender, reintroducing herself as Elliot and updating her gender pronouns to “he / them.”
He told Oprah Winfrey in April why she decided to open up about the procedure. “I wanted to talk about it for a couple of reasons,” Page said on Apple TV + The Oprah Conversation. “I wanted to share with people how much my life has changed.”

“I want people to know that it has not only changed my life, I think it has also saved my life and that is the case for many people,” he continued. “Because there is such an attack on trans health care right now, when there is already so much luck of access or trans people that they don’t even want to go to the doctor.”
Since then, Page has been praised for using his massive platform (which includes 7.5 million followers on Twitter and Instagram) to represent trans joy and raise awareness in the community. He received this year’s Annual Outfest Achievement Award at the Los Angeles LGBTQ Outfest Film Festival in August.
