Who is Mike Hassini?
Former TOWIE star Mike Hassini was jailed for more then six years yesterday after he was caught with £ 70,000 worth of high-quality cocaine.
The personal trainer, who was on ITV’s show between 2015 and 2018, was caught exchanging a block of cocaine with Gary Bear, 23, in the Hornchurch area of Havering, East London, at 9:43 a.m. April 16.
Hassini, 26, was seen by police officers carrying a brown cardboard box to Bear’s gray Mercedes.
Cocaine was found in Bear’s gray Mercedes and £ 36,495 in cash was discovered in a blue plastic bag in Hassini’s black Smart car, when they were detained in Hornchurch, east London.
A raid on the home of Hassini’s girlfriend’s parents uncovered another 300g of cocaine, a press and molds and £ 1,670 in cash, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.
Mike pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to supply, and possession of cash.
Police also found smartphones and burner phones in the box.
Personal trainer Hassini, from Brentwood, Essex, told them that he had around £ 36,000 in cash.
He also had three more blocks of high-quality cocaine, along with boric acid, a hydraulic press, metal plates, and small amounts of MDMA at the home of his girlfriend’s parents.
Hassini, who was on the ITV show from 2015 to 2018, admitted drug offenses in Snaresbrook crown court. He received six years, nine months in jail.
Judge Kwame Inyundo said: “It is clear that you played an important role in supplying high-value drugs.”
Bear of Hornchurch admitted to conspiracy to supply a Class A drugs and possess criminal property after more than £ 12,000 in cash was found in his familys home.
Judge Richard Inyundo jailed Hassini for six years and nine months and sentenced Bear to five years and three months in prison.
She told them: “You are not the only two young people who are in difficulties due to the Covid pandemic.
“But many people in much more difficult positions than yours did not make the decision to venture into criminality and they certainly did not make the decision to venture into very serious criminality, which, frankly, they both made the decision to do so with good eyes open. ”

The judge told Hassini that he had played “an important role” in the “organization that arranged for the supply of large quantities” of drugs.

Michael Lavers, for Bear, said: “Accept that he was tempted by the lifestyle and has engaged in these kinds of offenses.
“He has many brothers and sisters who look up to him and want him to be a part of his life, and he will not be able to provide that in the future.”
Hassini, 26, was living in a cabin with his girlfriend at the time of his arrest.
He admitted to conspiracy to supply a class A drug, possession of cocaine with the intent to supply, and possession of criminal property.
Hassini appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court wearing a black suit and members of his family sobbed in the public gallery as he was taken to the cells.

Hassini, of Brentwood, received a sentence of six years and nine months in prison.
Bear of Hornchurch, both from Essex, received a sentence of 5 years and 3 months after admitting to conspiracy to supply a class A drug and possession of criminal property.
In December 2016, when he was 22 years old, the former reality TV star escaped from jail after being convicted of kicking a custodial officer after crashing his Mercedes while intoxicated.
He was being held at the Charing Cross Police Station when he assaulted Detention Officer Suzanne Werth in the early morning of August 15, 2016.
